Haye Lane

The Town is surrounded by quiet lanes such as Haye Lane [left] or the lane from which this footpath at Frogwell leads.

Style
Newbridge

Newbridge [left] marks the boundary edge of the parish. Farming still continues to thrive in the fields adjoining the town.

Holmbush Mine

Where ever you go there are splendid views, you can see Dartmoor to the East and Bodmin to the West

town view
Kit Hill

If you climb up to Kit Hill past mine chimneys to the Stack at the top you will find panoramic views as far as the Tamar estuary to the south and Dartmoor and Bodmin to either side.
For the less energetic or less able there is a vehicle track to the top of the hill with a car park at the top.

If you travel away from the town, especialy to the south west you can clearly see the town's position below Kit Hill.
In this picture Callington is to the right and Kelly Bray to the left.
