CALLINGTON TOWN COUNCIL HAVE CALLED
A PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD IN THE
TOWN HALL 7PM ON
THURS 16TH FEBRUARY 2017
THE OBJECT OF THIS MEETING WILL BE TO DISCUSS THE EXPLORATION DRILLING IN KELLY BRAY HISTORIC MINING AREA
A total of around 20 holes are currently planned and to depths of up to 500 metres. The drilling programme is expected to take about 6 months. Local landowners have been contacted concerning access to their land and communication sessions for local residents have been held at the Swingletree pub during December and January, by Cornwall Resources Ltd
Maps about the drilling locations will be on display at this meeting.
So please try to attend and make your views known to the Town Council and take the opportunity to ask any questions or explain any concerns you have to Jeff Harrison, the Mining Consultant.
We appreciate that this may be a very well attended event and ask that any questions are limited to 3 minutes per person, allowing as many people as possible the opportunity to express their views.
