There are many play facilities located throughout Callington and Kelly Bray, some of which are located within housing estates. There are four play areas that are owned and maintained by the Town Council.

Saltash Road Recreation Park

This park has recently been refurbished (August 2010) with new play equipment, small bmx trail and picnic area.

The new equipment includes a cable way, bird nest swings, special needs swing, tiny tots climbing unit with slide and older childrens multi play unit, all of which are themed on the town's heritage link to mining.

Launceston Road Recreation Park

This park which is surrounded by mature trees stretches from Launceston Road to South Hill Road. There is an extensive new children's play area at the top end which includes play equipment from toddlers to teens. The 6m high climbing tower and the zip wire are popular with all ages.

For all generations a full suite of fitness equipment was installed in 2009.

Tamar Close Recreation Area

This small play area, contains a multi play unit, swings, a roundabout and a picnic table. It is at the end of Tamar Close off Guipavas Way.

Lamorna Recreation Area

Situated off Rosemullion Gardens, this small play area was regenerated with new equipment in March 2007.

Other play areas.

There are other play areas throughout Callington and Kelly Bray that come under the control of the housing developer or Cornwall Council, these are located in:

• The Village Collection Estate (various locations throughout the estate) off Liskeard Road
• Horsewhim Drive (new 2009) off Launceston Road, Kelly Bray
• Lady Beam Court (new 2010) off Station Road, Kelly Bray
